The main aim of the Vocational School of Istanbul Arel University is to raise equipped and vocationally and technically well trained individuals who will work as intermediate staff in professional and technical fields; and to meet the needs of industry and service sectors of our country |
Although a very short time passed over the establishment of our Vocational School, it aims at educating about 4000 students within the frame of 24 programs by the help of both theoretical and practical courses. In order to supply the intermediate job employees for our country, 4 new programs will be opened in our Vocational School. In our Vocational School, besides the daytime programs, Evening Education programs are also being offered to provide an educational opportunity to people working in daytime.
Our teaching staff consists of instructors who are expert in their fields, giving theoretical and practical courses. The instructors of the practical courses are experienced individuals who have actively participated in their sectors, this greatly contributes to the application-oriented education which is considered fundamental for raising intermediate staff. Another system that reinforces application-oriented education is the compulsory internship that all students have to do.
Our Vocational School has also adopted improving the foreign language knowledge of our students as a principle, within the scope of the general foreign language policy of our University. For this aim, our School provides an optional preparatory program for the students who want to join. Besides, for improving the foreign language skills of our students in their fields, compulsory English courses are included in the academic program as a part of the education, during the four academic semesters.
With its 24 daytime and 24 evening education programs, our Vocational School is the right address for all students who want to have vocational and technical knowledge, and to start their professional life as soon as possible.
