Department of Industrial Engineering
In today’s world, which is globalizing fast, increasing competition conditions and customer expectations, arising as a consequence of these conditions, force enterprises to lower operational cost and improve the quality of products and services. This situation raises the need of industrial engineers, who work to design the low cost systems for different areas from manufacturing customer goods to energy transformation or from agriculture and health services to communication, and to try to provide integration between these systems and people. The main objective of our department is raising the industrial engineers who are needed by organizations to increase their efficiency and competitive power.
The programme of the department was prepared to raise engineers who design the systems, which use the sources like people, information, and tools, materials, which are necessary to produce and distribute products and services, in the most effective way, and apply them.
