Communication is by being human. Communication is the basic organizer power and the area for individual to know oneself and other people and make sense of (explain the meaning of) the world live in.
Communication also plays head role in orientating and reformatting the environment human live in. Communication with this aspect is a phenomenon separates the human from other living things in the nature.
Since the early times of human existence, the angel and devil role is also ascribed to communication in the actions about wars, peace, conflict, reconciliation, tensions, misery, happiness, love, hatred and so on.
It is known that especially since last two centuries, the major developments of communication techniques take the world completely different process. This is because of our age is called as age of communication. Incredible advances in communication technologies reveal the need to format the communication practices at all levels of human and community life in today’s world.
The huge effect of the radical and extensive change in communication practices and technologies on re-design of world in terms of politics, economic, socail, cultural and so on is observed at present (situation). We are living in an era in today’s world that we bear witness to resign of everykind of relations from most micro-level relationships(between individulas) to most macro-level relationships(international, intercultural etc) and form of communication in connection with interaction.
Arel University Faculty of Communication is founded for the purpose of teaching the importance and seriousness of communication to today’s young shape the society’s tomorrow.
The main aim of Arel University Faculty of Communication is contribute to growth of curious individuals have high level of intellectual capacity, practical intelligence, capable of theoretical knowledge into practice in life, look at the world and life from a critical framework and is questioning, researching, producing a solution.
Arel University Faculty of Communication not only provides undergraduate education but also endeavors young people curious about pursue an academic career, have more specific information equipment in the field and think systematically, to future by graduation education.
We believe the importance of abroad education for training openminded individuals have mission and vision. So, as Arel Communication we take care to support abroad education n certain periods of training by supporting the students with Erasmus programs etc and scholarships.
Arel Communication trying to give students a quality communication education with powerful, young and dynamic academic staff and most advanced technological hardware radio, television studios on the other hand cares to provide a contemporary living space with comfortable campus, quality cafeterias, excellent equipped sports facilities and free shuttle service.
As Arel University Faculty of Communication, our duty to students does not end with graduation. Our support continues with career units within the university as well as the close relations with communications sector.
