Nowadays removals of borders, increasing of globalization, spreading of international and multinational companies and the increasing complexity of management process have emphasized the importance of executive training. Especially, by the identification of the difference between being an owner and being a manager, professional management has become a very important occupation. The changes in ecologic, economic, social, political, technologic and legal environment entail the executive training. A manager should keep abreast of the all changes on time and get abreast to them to carry his company too far.
Management is a process of co-operation and leading the workers to the specific targets. It includes co-decision, too. Because of this reason, a manager should analyze human behaviors well and care about the human relations. Management has an interdisciplinary qualification. It can not be dissociated from disciplines such as Sociology, Law, Economics and Mathematics.
Today, managers are needed in all the sectors. There is a need for manager of all levels in any production company, tourism firm, hospital or any public institution.
Due to these reasons, the aim of our department is to graduate management trainees, capable of meeting the needs of all sectors, caring about the human relations and sensitive to all current events and environment, innovative, and capable of grabbing at all opportunities and making use of them.
Also, it is anticipated that students can spend one term of their education in abroad by the forthcoming cooperation negotiations with the foreign universities within the frame of Erasmus program.
We aim our graduates to work as well as in private and public sector organizations at mid to top professional levels.
